Aromatic-Touch Therapy℠, created by Janice Gagnon-Warr, RN, is a combination of treatment modalities that may help with stress, fatigue, anxiety, depression, insomnia, grief, loss of focus or vitality, or unhappiness and dissatisfaction in your life, job, or relationships.
An Aromatic-Touch Therapy℠ session includes relaxation techniques such as Visualization, Guided Imagery, Progressive Muscle Relaxation, effleurage massage, Reflexology, and deep belly breathing, which are used to elicit the body’s natural relaxation response. Polarity therapy and other energy-based therapies are used to free blocked energy and clear and balance the electromagnetic energy fields that surround the body.
Acupressure, Polarity, and reflexology may also be included to reduce or eliminate chronic muscle tension and increase the flow of energy. Medicinal grade essential oils are applied either topically or through inhalation, following best practices for safe essential oil application, and adhering to safety recommendations for dosage and dilution ratios.
